Filled with games and candy, the halloween fair set up by peer leaders and their advisory created a fun and safe event for children on the Wednesday before Halloween. The event took place in the big gym at 6 in the evening. There were all sorts of fun fair games, tattoo stations, cooking making, water pong, and face painting. Many elementary students had attended the fair with their parents. The whole community is invited to the fair, and many little kids and alumni’s with their children attended the fair.
There were many unique costumes at the fair. For example, kids dressed up as Donald Trump, a Grandma, a Zombie, a Superhero and more. Sophomore Jonathan Katz commented, “I think it was a great event to participate in and this event brought a lot of fun to all that were participating and everyone seemed to be having a fun time throughout the whole event.” In addition, senior Michelle Mirjani, who worked at the booth replied, “I enjoyed working at the booth and having fun with my peerlings, and co-peer leaders setting up the event, and interacting with many young kids, and also I enjoyed seeing my teachers kids as well.”
Similarly, sophomore Chloe Noghreh added, “The Halloween fair was a very fun experience. It was so nice to see all of the elementary school students having a blast and participating in all the activities. And it was also fun to interact with the kids. I’m sure that all of the kids, and even adults had a great experience at the fair as shown by their excitement throughout the event.”
Overall, all the students and peerlings had a great time and enjoyed their experience at the fair, and enjoyed interacting with the young kids. The kids, who attend the fair enjoyed playing games, dressing up, and interacting with older kids. Furthermore, the adults who attended also enjoyed seeing kids in costumes and seeing their children interacting with the older kids. Many parents also enjoyed spending quality time with their children at the Halloween fair.
